Legian Beach, Indonesia

The southern beaches on the island of Bali are a fun, chaotic tourist spot with great surf, sticky weather and a jungle of restaurants, bars and shops. We landed smack in the middle of the 3-day Hindu Nyepi holiday which included burning devil effigies and a compulsory quiet day confined to our hotel and its pool. The second photo is the Bali bombing memorial, sandwiched between Billabong and Roxy stores.
