This one's for Alanah. Tunisia, it turns out, is a big site for movie making. The Life of Brian, The English Patient and parts of many of the Stars Wars movies were filmed here in the south. Some heavy duty fans even spend their trip hopping from one location shoot to another. The picture above is from one site (Episode One?): the huts and road took 3 months to construct. In the end, 12 minutes of footage was shot here. One large town in Tunisia's south is even called Tataouine. Sound familiar?
